2022 Global Future Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Conference Agenda


1.Introduction
The revolutionary and disruptive technological breakthroughs caused by the rapid development of science and technology are profoundly affecting people's life style, the way of production and the course of social development. To actively respond to the call of President Xi Jinping, implement the 14th Five-Year Plan and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035, and promote global cooperation in future scientific and technological innovation and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and foster new drivers of future scientific and technological development, and accelerate the understanding and research of future science and technology, the 2022 Global Future Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Conference, approved by the State Council, will be co-hosted by China Council for Promotion of International Trade, China Association for Science and Technology, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, The Beijing Municipal People's Government, World Intellectual Property Organization and United Nations Industrial Development Organization on July 29th to 30th, 2022 in Beijing.  
 
With the theme of “Technology Empowers the Future, Innovation Leads Development”, the Conference mainly includes the opening ceremony, plenary session, results release, theme forum and future science and technology industry exhibition area. Being held both online and offline, the Conference will invite political leaders at home and abroad, representatives of international organizations, famous scientists and industry leaders to attend and discuss the theme of the Conference.

We strongly believe technology will make life better in the future. The conference will be dedicated to strengthening global cooperation in future science and technology innovation, jointly exploring the challenges and difficulties faced by global science and technology, and providing support for the better life of human society.

Sustainable development is the call of the United Nations to the whole world. The role and value of scientific and technological innovation in sustainable development are increasingly prominent. In 2015, the United Nations launched the Technology Facilitation Mechanism to pool the collective wisdom of science and technology, business and stakeholders to support and promote the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals and put the world on the path of sustainable development. Scientific and technological innovation to promote sustainable development has become the only way to solve global problems.

1. Development and Layout of National Future Science and Technology Strategy
Content: The strategic development plan of science and technology is a long-term plan for the development of science and technology innovation and an important part of the overall development strategy of the country. Published by The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the strategic Development and Layout of China's Future Science and Technology focuses on key science and technology innovation fields such as information, biology, energy and manufacturing to strengthen research and judgment of science and technology development, and predict the core and key technologies that will affect economic and social development in the future.

2. China's Science and Technology Innovation Chart
Content: The China Science and Technology Innovation Chart is a software analysis platform developed by The Institute of Science and Technology Information of China using its own science and technology innovation big data, science and technology information analysis theory and method and visual display means. The platform consists of three main parts: China Speed, Innovation Highland and innovation Pulse. The China Science and Technology Innovation Chart platform can be used to analyze the development status of science and technology innovation at different levels, discover the law of science and technology innovation, predict the development trend of science and technology innovation in the future, and support the management and decision-making of multiple science and technology innovation subjects.

In addition, technology-intensive industries such as information and communication will also play an important role in helping China become a cyber power, a digital China and a smart society, benefiting from the rapid development of future science and technology.
